April 13, 2018 Purchased what looked like a beautiful, fresh flower arrangement to be delivered for wife's birthday (as I would be travelling for work and wanted a nice surprise for her).

The flowers came on time, left on the front porch, BOX UPSIDE DOWN. When the box was opened, the vase that was purchased with it, was on top of the flowers and had crushed or broken 40-50% of them. Upon closer inspection, the flowers not only were crushed but looked like they were 4+ days old.

I looked for a way to deal with customer service, but only email was available so I emailed to complain and sent a picture. They asked for more pictures. I sent the following pictures to them to which they said the flowers needed to be rehydrated and gave me a $10 voucher off my next purchase. I emailed back that the pictures I had sent were after they had been sitting in water for at least 4 hours (so actually looking better than when they arrived), so I'm not sure how much more hydrating they would need. I then told them the flowers were put out my front steps, that they can pick them up and give them to their own wife and that I expected a full refund. When someone buys flowers to be delivered, they don't do so to look like a cheap, thoughtless moron. Second rate, broken flowers with brown edges and petals falling off are not what was posted on the Bloomex.com website and so my expectations were not anywhere near what was received. There has been no further contact from Bloomex since my last email (except the auto-response email saying they received my email). The total lack of responsibility for the product that is sold versus delivered is unacceptable. Do we really live in a world where retailers can sell anything and only be accountable for taking your money and nothing further?

Do not use this service, consider yourself warned.
